The store was visited by Vanessa Brown a reporter with channel 33 in Dallas, Texas who was reporting on electronic cigarettes or e-cigs which can be used in Dallas bars. Like any new product you have the people that want to run their own agendas who want to tell people how to live their lives, as in no sugar, cake, no soft drinks, no tobacco, etc. Vanessa seemed to do a fair job of showing both sides of the issue. Most people forget why smoking bans exist in the first place, its not the act of smoking that bothers people or at least it shouldn’t but rather it’s what the tobacco might do to you. Recently, the State of California attempted to pass a law restricting the sale of electronic cigarettes to consumers, mostly an effort being pushed by people with a hidden agenda; thankfully, the consumers won that battle as the Governor vetoed the bill. Tobacco Town is located in Dallas, Texas and offers electronic cigarettes as a smoking alternative to its adult customers who are of legal age. Tobacco town and or its affiliated distributors state that currently the products are not regulated by the FDA and that all consumers should use the products at their own risk.
